Case Study: Honest Day Tradewear - Custom Embroidered Patch Hats

Posted by Emily Ayers on Jan 18th 2024

It's no secret we love the Richardson 112 around here!

When it comes to the decoration method, I personally love an embroidered patch.

Let's review the definition of an embroidered patch...

It might sound confusing to have "embroidered" and "patch" in the same sentence because embroidery and patches are two completely different decoration methods. It's not a trick, though - an embroidered patch is a piece of twill or embroidered material that is then shaped and then your logo is embroidered directly on top of the material. So instead of your logo being embroidered directly on to a hat, it is embroidered on to a patch, which adds a lot of dimension and detail to make your logo really stand out. And, like any embroidery project, this patch type works the best with a few colors and a small amount of detail. If your logo has a lot of detail / color, there are other patch types that would work better for your logo.

Now that we have that out of the way, let's see the Honest Day Tradewear logo as an embroidered patch!
